By hand
To remove:
- Slide the green centre piece to the RHS - this will leave a hole.
- Pull your curtains down. If the green centre piece hasn’t been used for some time it may be a bit stiff, in this case get a flat blade screw driver and slide it across with this.
To put back up:
- Feed the gliders back into the track.
- Slide the green centre peice closed again.
By Lifting Rod
To remove:
- Move all your curtains to the LHS.
- Slide the green centre piece to the RHS this will leave a hole.
- Make sure the sliding handle of the lifting rod is slide fully down away from the green end.
- Hold the lifting rod vertical and insert it into the hole with the 2 green lugs facing away from the green slider.
- Gently tilt the lifting rod until it’s on about a 45 degree angle and is locked into the track.
- Grab the curtain with your other hand and pull it down onto the lifting rod.
- Slide your curtains onto the lifting rod.
- Once your curtains are fully on lifting rod tilt the lifting rod vertical and take down.
- Slide your curtains off the lifting rod.
To put back up:
- Make sure the sliding handle of the lifting rod is slide fully down away from the green end.
- Feed your curtains onto the lifting rod the right way around.
- Hold the lifting rod vertical and insert it into the hole with the 2 green lugs facing away from the green slider.
- Gently tilt the lifting rod until it’s on about a 45 degree angle and is locked into the track.
- While supporting the weight of the curtains with your shoulder take the handle of the lifting rod and gently slide it up.
- Your curtains should now slide onto the track.
- Slide the handle back down.
- Move rod back to vertical position and remove from track.
- Slide the green centre peice closed again.
